Patch Me If You Can is an indoor plastering business based in Mapperley, Nottingham, with 18 years of experience behind it. The name says it: patching walls and ceilings so the damage disappears is a big part of the job. But the work covers all aspects of indoor plastering, from skimming single rooms, staircases and whole houses to skimming over Artex, plasterboarding, building stud walls and media walls, and fitting wall panelling.
How we work
Every job starts with a proper look at the walls. Plaster that looks fine can be loose behind the surface, and a skim over a problem only hides it for a while, so we check what is there and explain what it needs before any work starts. Floors and furniture are covered, the work area is kept tidy, and when the job is done you are left with walls and ceilings that are smooth, flat and ready for decorating.
Because we frame, board and plaster, one trade can take a room from a bare frame to a finished wall. That makes a real difference on stud walls and media walls, where the framing, the boarding and the final finish all depend on each other, and on wall panelling, where the wall behind has to be true for the panels to look right.
Where we work
We are based in Mapperley and cover Nottingham and up to 30 miles around. That takes in the suburbs and towns around the city, such as Arnold, Carlton, Gedling, West Bridgford, Beeston, Hucknall and Bulwell, and further out to Long Eaton, Ilkeston, Eastwood, Bingham, Southwell, Newark, Mansfield, Derby and Loughborough.
When we work
We work seven days a week, from 7am to 5pm. That makes it easier to fit plastering around your plans, whether you need a room finished before new flooring goes down, a ceiling repaired after a leak or a house ready before tenants move in.
